One thing he is obviously not taking into account are BIG success stories where Europe failed spectactuarly.
Then one other caveat I must mention is this: One is not interested in 2'300 VCs. One is interested in the top 10-20. I am nearly sure that math would look entirely different then.
What this shows is that with lower risk, more make money but just little in total and no BIG DEALs really. In that category Europe is not playing - yet.
